Las Vegas is fast becoming a shopping destination. From typical mall retailers to specialty designer boutiques, the city now boasts something for everyone! There is the sizzling style of Versace in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace; the classic casualness of Benetton at the Fashion Show Mall and the darling discounts on fine Italian suits at Mastroianni Fashion's located just up the street from the Convention Center.
However, you probably won't have to travel very far in order to find the most elaborate shopping in the city. That's because if you're staying at a hotel on the Strip, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that the mini drug store of yesteryear has been replaced with some of the most lavish and exotic shops this side of the Mississippi. Las Vegas may just soon join the ranks of Dallas and San Francisco in its reputation for style and variety. With names like FAO Schwartz Donna Karan, and even Tiffany's adorning Strip marquees, it's not such a far fetched notion to compare us to The Big Apple. After all, we do own the skyline! So, go ahead and enjoy yourself at the tables, but remember to save some for that "Vegas" souvenir, which may now resemble Anne Taylor and Gucci all wrapped up in one!
